FITE was started in 2011 at the WANIC Skills Center in Kirkland, WA. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit that contracts with school districts to provide high quality preparatory training for high school juniors and seniors in the fields of firefighting and emergency medicine.
We exist to raise up a generation of young people that live to serve their communities. Whether it is in the field of firefighting, emergency medicine or something altogether different, helping students pursue a career or passion is our absolute goal.
While a large portion of our students go on to work in the fire service, we also see students seek opportunities in the military, medical fields, or general services. We celebrate each and every success as the students chase after their dreams.
Please see the "Registration" page if you want to be a part of this mission. Visit the "Contact Us" page with any questions.
Becoming a member of the FITE Family is available to students in over 100 high schools in Washington and we hope to see you soon!!
Please join us to learn more about what's happening this spring at FITE! We will be discussing upcoming events and curriculum including auto extrication and North Bend Fire Training Academy day. There will be also be a notary present to notarize North Bend forms. Parents and guardians, please plan to be in attendance!
